How to Enter a Trade
Your beginner's walkthrough — from receiving a FusionTrades signal to placing your first trade. Follow these 7 steps every time.
Subscribe to FusionTrades
Get your trade signal delivered to your account — includes the asset (e.g. BTC/USD), direction (Buy or Sell), entry price, stop loss, and take profit.
Open TradingView
Go to TradingView and search for the asset from your signal (e.g. BTCUSD, EURUSD, AAPL). This lets you visualize the trade setup on a live chart before you enter.
Verify the Setup
On the chart, confirm the current price is near the signal's entry price. Look for the support/resistance levels, and make sure the signal aligns with the current market structure.
Open Your Broker or Exchange
Log in to your brokerage or crypto exchange (e.g. Coinbase, Binance, TD Ameritrade, Interactive Brokers). Search for the same asset from the signal.
Enter the Trade
Place your order with the exact parameters from the signal:
- 1Select Buy (bullish signal) or Sell (bearish signal)
- 2Set your Entry Price — use a limit order if price hasn't reached it yet, or market order if it's at entry
- 3Set your Stop Loss at the level provided in the signal
- 4Set your Take Profit at the level provided in the signal
- 5Choose your position size — risk no more than 1–2% of your capital per trade
Confirm and Monitor
Review all trade details carefully, then submit. Monitor the trade — FusionTrades will also send alerts when the signal target is approaching or the trade should be closed.
Close the Trade
When your Take Profit is hit (or if price reaches Stop Loss), the trade closes automatically if you set your SL/TP orders. If managing manually, close it when the signal's target is reached.
